THE ROCKIN’ JP RANCH, INC. --- AVAILABLE SERVICES --- HORSE TRAINING Horses are taken in on a limited basis. Training is available primarily for working cattle and the horse must be well broke, well mannered and have no dangerous traits. In other words, it must be ready to learn the skills necessary to work cattle successfully. All horses are not suited for this purpose and will be evaluated to determine its potential. Owners are highly encouraged to take lessons on the horse (at a reduced price) while it is in training. It does no good for us to train your horse and not you. After the training period is concluded lessons will be available at the normal lesson rate. Your purse, desires for your horse, and the goal you want to attain, determines conclusion of training. I will be honest and up front with you at all times to let you know where the horse and you are in the learning process. I encourage your asking questions any time during the training process. The cost for training is $650 per month, which includes full board and care. Shoeing, worming, inoculations, and any other expenses are the responsibility of the owner.
